As soon as you have given the green light to your custom design, we plan and communicate your timetable
By installation time, you will have worked with our design consultants on pool shape, materials, water features, landscaping and hardscaping. You will have seen architectural and engineering specifications and have received a detailed cost estimate of swimming pool construction.

• We will have had pre-ground-breaking discussion meetings so that you completely understand the schedule and have input. The engineering of your project will have been expertly and meticulously planned. All of the necessary permits will have been obtained (governments can take 6 weeks), and the building phase begins when you say go!
• Remember, this is custom swimming pool construction, not a “kit” or a pre-fabricated pool. It is a design that takes into account the size of your lot, the shape of pool you choose, the surrounding land and hardscape, and the uniqueness of your choices.

It can take only a handful of months for some pools. When Mother Nature interferes, you can expect complete communication of how it affects the project schedule.
We make swimming pool construction easy for you, because the hard work is our job. After we have surveyed and expertly marked out the location you have chosen for your pool, we dig “the hole”. That is your first marker on the road to a new pool. The order of the next steps may vary at times, but here is a basic outline of swimming pool construction:

1. Install steel reinforcement for the walls and bottom
2. Initial plumbing, such as drains, water feature jets and pipes, and initial electrical work
3. Concrete is poured over the steel rebar to form the “shell”. If you have chosen a liner pool, the shell can be concrete block. Your next progress marker is seeing the walls and floor taking shape.
4. At this point, we go to work on the pool deck area. It is graded; a concrete base is poured and sealed.
5. Electric wiring to the filters, underwater and outdoor lighting is installed as is final plumbing.
6. Deck finish and sealing gives you a third swimming pool construction milepost.
7. Now the interior finish is applied; it can be pool plaster, tile or elegant stone.
8. The deck pavers or other surface are installed. Other landscaping and hardscaping is also in progress.
9. Your pool is filled and filtration tested. This can try the patience of any pool owner, but we have some more work to do, such as cleaning the tile, adding water chemicals, and running the pumps.
10. Your pool is open!
